Post - HR Support Grants for Small Businesses

Did you know, that effective from 1 July 2024, small businesses are eligible for HR support grants of up to $5,000.00 (excluding GST)? 

 Administered by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (“DESBT”), the grant provides small businesses with the opportunity to  implement necessary and immediate HR measures to address their workforce challenges.

 Eligible small businesses must:

·             Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and demonstrate their principal place of business in Queensland;

·             Be registered for GST;

·             Have a minimum of one paid employee and fewer than 20 employees (excluding the business owner);

·             Have an annual turnover of less than $10 million; and

·             Have a Workforce Plan which is endorsed by an Industry Workforce Advisor.
